Who is Faithful & Wise For??
It’s for the new Christian…who doesn’t know who Esther is yet…who doesn’t know the hymns everyone else does…who wasn’t raised in church…who feels like she’s coming to the party late and everyone else knows what’s going on but her… Sweet Sister, I was you…this Blog is for you! You are safe here to ask the questions as you try to figure things out… there is NO shame or judgement…we’re just glad you’re here asking!
It’s for the woman who has been raised in church… who knows the words, can speak the lingo, but was just going through the motions and is now trying to figure out what it means to have her own faith…to walk her own walk.
It’s for the Christian who feels all alone because no one else seems to care about the things she cares about…she doesn’t have anyone to dig into scripture with or to speak truth to her when she needs to be reminded of it. There is a lot of isolation in even the busiest of places…this is where you will find people who are walking the narrow way with you.
It’s for the woman who is anxious… who needs some encouragement…who gets overwhelmed when she looks at the world we live in and needs someone to remind her that God is in control.
It’s for the woman who is waiting for her “life” to begin… who wants to get married and have babies…to do all the things she’s dreamed of…but can’t find a good man who is godly and single to even think about dating…and is just wondering what to do while she tries to wait patiently.
It’s for the young mom who is trying to keep it all together while running on coffee and no sleep. Who wonders if she’s doing enough…has no idea what’s for dinner again… who sees social media moms and wonders how they can do it all when she can’t… feels like homeschooling is best but can’t fathom how she could do that too… And is trying not to neglect her husband, family, friends and faith in the midst of it all.
Sweet Sister…this Blog is for you! It is my desire to encourage and come along side you… I’ve been in all of those places- and I remember them well. I am soooo thankful for the few godly women that I met, mostly online, who helped me grow in faith and wisdom!
